So I’ve only tried to make Hamburger Helper once. The first problem I had was that when you look at cooking directions, they tend to make some assumptions regarding what most people already know about cooking. I had to google what it meant to “brown” meat. Once that was done I put it in a shallow pan (skillet?) with all the other ingredients and it overflowed all over the stovetop and almost lit my house on fire.
